Challenge Grant for Reidy Hall!
Dear Parish Family,
We are delighted to announce that we have secured a $35,000 matching grant from Catholic Extension in support of our Capital Campaign for Reidy Hall. Catholic Extension will match $1 for every $2 the parish raises. That means that if we raise $70,000 the parish will receive $35,000! Additionally, a generous parishioner has added $5,000 on top of the Catholic Extension grant so if the parish raises $80,000 we will receive a total of $40,000! This is the perfect time to send in your donation and have it matched by Catholic Extension and our parish donor. Multi-year pledges also count toward the match so consider making a one time donation or a multi-year donation to this unique challenge grant opportunity. Together we are building a new Reidy Hall!
Parish Administrator and Capital Campaign Chair
We want to share some good news and some challenging news with regard to our Capital Campaign for Reidy Hall. Last August we set about raising the funds to completely remodel Reidy Hall. Starting with $500,000 in savings, our goal was to raise $700,000 in order to meet the estimated 1.2 million dollar cost. The good news is that in just eight months we have met that goal and construction can begin! The more challenging news is that due to the increased costs and supply chain issues, we now have a Phase II to our Capital Campaign. Phase II will require us to raise an additional $377,000 because like so many projects around the country, our project has increased by roughly 30 percent.
While we did not expect to have a “Phase II” to our campaign, we are confident that our parish is up to the challenge. We are tremendously excited that we have reached our initial goal because it means that demolition can begin this June with full construction beginning in September.
With your help we can bring about the complete transformation of this room that we depend upon for gatherings, funerals, meetings, faith formation, and a variety of parish-wide events. We ask that you and your family consider joining your fellow parishioners with a pledge or donation to Phase II of the Capital Campaign for Reidy Hall. No gift is too small or too large. Together we can make this transformational project a reality for our parish and for generations to come.
We thank you for considering our request and invite you to call the parish office at 542-0321 if you have any questions.
