It’s not too late to support the Capital Campaign for Reidy Hall!
Imagine it is the fall of 2023 and Reidy Hall, fully remodeled, is finally open! You have been invited to the rededication of our brand new gathering space and you can’t wait to see the transformation. Once you arrive you are thrilled. The people of St. Francis Xavier have created a beautiful, functional, and delightful space and it’s filling up with excited parishioners. The room has been reconfigured and, as you enter, you are amazed at how open it is. The beautiful windows now allow natural light to flood in from both the east and west sides of the hall. The design of the ceiling, replete with recessed lighting, is a welcome change from the old drop ceiling and fluorescent lights.
The brand new kitchen bustles with activity. The hospitality volunteers smile as they prepare for the reception in this bright and cheerful space. The table-height dishwasher is generating lots of “oohs” and “aahs”. “No more bending over to pick up trays of dishes!” someone exclaims to much laughter. Folks are equally enthused over the stainless steel refrigerators, warming oven, and brand new gas range. “This might be nicer than my kitchen” you say to yourself.
You walk down the hallway to the bathrooms. No more lines! The men’s and women’s bathrooms have doubled in size and have brand new fixtures. All bathrooms are now ADA compliant, and we now have a new, separate family bathroom to give flexibility to families with little children or individuals with special needs.
You turn and face the gathering crowd and notice everyone is delighted with the transformation that has taken place in Reidy Hall. You think to yourself, “This was a remarkable project and a complete success. I’m glad I was part of it.”
We need your participation!
To bring the scenario above to life, we hope that you will consider supporting the Capital Campaign for Reidy Hall. It’s not too late to participate and be part of the transformation. Parishioners who have already made donations to the Capital Campaign for Reidy Hall have brought us a long way, but we cannot complete the project with just 26% involvement.
Giving doesn’t have to be burdensome. We understand that not all families are on the same financial footing so there are all kinds of options to make your donation work within your budget. If you are hesitating because you think you must contribute thousands of dollars, rest assured that any contribution – even a modest, one time gift – would be a great help. Consider the following examples to see the impact a monthly donation makes over time.
|Donation per Month||Three Years||Four Years||Five Years|
As construction begins this month, we prayerfully request that you make a donation to the Capital Campaign for Reidy Hall. By giving a gift of any size, given over time or in one donation, your family will be participating in the completion of this wonderful project. To those of you who have already done so, we cannot thank you enough!
