Luke Larson, Director of Spirituality

Director of Spirituality (SEEL)

Luke Larson ~ Director of Spiritual Exercises Retreat Ministry (S.E.E.L.)

Luke has lived in various parts of the country, yet his early upbringing and several returns to the Big Sky Country qualify him as a native Montanan. Luke and his wife Evie feel most blessed to be members of our parish community and to have their family, including four adorable grandchildren, relatively close in Montana.

As a Jesuit seminarian for eight years, Luke gained proficiency in the art of discernment – making decisions oriented toward one’s most authentic desires. Today he brings that expertise into his role as the Director of our SEEL program, as well as in his private practice as a Catholic spiritual coach.

For 14 years Luke was an executive mission leader with one of the largest Catholic health systems in the nation. He holds certifications as a lay chaplain, executive coach and spiritual director. He earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s in religious studies from Gonzaga University.

Luke and Evie have made several volunteer medical mission trips abroad. Luke has also founded and administered two successful international mission programs, one in the West Indies and the other in the Philippines.

Twice the couple have walked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, a 500-mile pilgrimage route across northern Spain. Insights gained from their first trek were the impetus for Luke’s published book about the Camino.
