I grew up in Helena, MT and came to Missoula in 2005 to attend the University of Montana. Growing up attending a Christian church, I always felt a strong pull to help others and spent a lot of time volunteering and helping with summer camps. After college I spent four years working for the Poverello Center at the Joseph Residence where our main focus was to move families from homelessness into permanent housing.
After marrying my husband in 2010 and attending mass with him, I started to want more out of my spirituality. In 2016, I attended a Women’s Catholic Journey Retreat and my relationship with Christ was renewed. The love I felt surrounding me that weekend from the Catholic community made me want to be apart of this amazing faith. I went through RCIA at St. Francis and joined the Church in 2017. The Easter Vigil still remains to be one of my most beautiful memories and I will cherish it forever.
My husband, Eric, and our children, Katlynn, Rene, Grace, Colbie and Jacob are the light of my life. I also find joy in spending time outdoors camping and gardening. Cooking, sewing, and making wine are other big hobbies of mine.
Each new person I meet is a blessing and am looking forward to meeting you!
